During the COVID-19 pandemic, I founded Nate’s Minecraft Classes, creating a safe, engaging, and educational online community for children. I developed and taught interactive classes for students ages 5–11, covering everything from basic Minecraft gameplay to advanced redstone engineering and creative building techniques. I designed customized curricula to meet each student’s skill level, conducted one-on-one tutoring, and guided parents on how to support their child’s interests in Minecraft.
In addition to teaching, I managed all aspects of the business, including private server setup, Zoom class management, bookings, and finances. I prioritized creating a secure online environment, ensuring that all classes were safe and accessible only to registered students. This venture combined my passion for education, technology, and community-building, and became a popular resource for kids looking to learn, play, and grow during a challenging time. Within the first year of the pandemic, I had worked with 50+ kids and also provided lessons to some parents who were interested in understanding Minecraft.
